My name is Cathy and my husband Ed and I live in the quaint and
quiet village of Standard which is located 50 miles East of Calgary, Alberta.
Our two sons have recently “left the nest” so there is just us and
our precious Yorkies.  Our Yorkies are kind enough to have shared
their home with us since 1979 and they are all highly cherished
whether a show champion or a pet.

We have Yorkies that are Champions, on their way to being Champions, Champion hopefuls, or are an integral part of our breeding program.  Most of the time we have a litter of pups or a litter on its way throughout the year.

 

I started in the sport of dog showing in 1984 with
my first show girl, Mandy. I studied the CKC Breed Standard, bought all the right stuff, took special handling classes, and tried to learn the art of exhibition.
Needless to say, I have had the show bug ever since!
I did take a break to raise my two boys and waited to return to this sport hobby until 2004, when I finally had the resources of time and money to truly articulate the showing and breeding of this wonderfully challenging dog. Now I am lucky enough not to work outside the home so I spend my time day in and day out as a YOYO
(Yorkie obsessed, Yorkie owned).

We strive to do the best we possibly can for this outstanding breed, taking great care with genetic decisions in order to produce the healthiest dogs with the best temperaments, all the while breeding for that next big showstopper. The advantage to YOU is that you are getting a pet that comes from generations of the "pick-of-the-litter" dogs chosen for their outstanding soundness and beauty from many top Canadian and American bloodlines. As such, our pups look like and act like a proper Yorkie should; beautiful, inquisitive, intelligent,
